Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Defence and Weapons Systems Company.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting technical changes to existing company products, including Defence and Weapons Systems. This will involve developing design evidence, specifying prototypes, and providing corrective actions on assigned defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and maintain design evidence to justify safe and effective designs, ensuring customer confidence in the design solution.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Specify and assist in the build of prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing.
  • Defect Resolution: Provide timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues.
  • Commitment and Review: Ensure that commitments are agreed, reviewed, and met.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in Defence and Weapons Systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
