About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our dedicated healthcare team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general nursing care to patients, including catheter management, injections, wound care, and palliative nursing care in patients' homes and residential care homes.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication with patients, relatives, and staff.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and carers, demonstrating empathy and understanding in a challenging environment.
  • Participate in reflective practice and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in line with the Nursing Associate role.
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
  • Foundation degree level education specific to Nursing Associate practice or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.
