Nursery Chef/Cook

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Blueberry Nursery School in Hove. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children with specific dietary needs
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the nursery kitchen
- Manage stock levels and ensure efficient inventory control
- Collaborate with the nursery team to ensure children's safety and well-being
- Deputise for the Cook in all absences and provide cover when required
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualificationMinimum of 6 months experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHHStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat We Offer:
