The Gingerman Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standard, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking food to the highest standard, adhering to our culinary standards and guidelines.
- Maintaining and managing prep levels, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Assisting with menu planning and development, collaborating with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Following recipes and presentation guidelines accurately, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar kitchen environment.
- Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of a variety of cuisines.
- Experience in managing and training junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
What We Offer:
- An hourly wage of £11.44, plus tips via tronc between £5000-£8000.
- An average of 45-50 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
