About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nursery Chef to join our team at Blueberry Nursery School in Hove. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for children with specific dietary needs
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including COSHH and Ofsted guidelines
  • Manage kitchen stock levels and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Deputise for the Cook in all absences and provide cover when required
About You

We are looking for an individual with a Level 2 Food and Hygiene qualification, a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and COSHH. You should be able to reflect the Storal values of responsibility, openness, and working together.
