We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor for our client, a prominent manufacturer and distributor specializing in clean and waste water pumping systems.
Role Summary
This position is essential for the efficient operation of the service department, requiring an individual with a strong background in administration, coordination, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding inquiries related to scheduled and urgent service requests.
- Collaborate with engineers to organize their assignments, ensuring they have all necessary documentation, permits, and supplies.
- Generate quotations and sales orders to facilitate timely invoicing.
- Actively recommend additional services based on client needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative capacity within an engineering environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft 365; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of £25,000 - £30,000, negotiable based on experience.
