Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of our hospital's facilities, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and procurement of materials and services.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including the Safe Operation of Low Voltage, Mechanical, Pressure, Water, Medical Gas, and Confined Spaces.
- Planned Maintenance: Actively participate in the operation and control of all planned maintenance schemes to support business and contract needs.
- Unplanned Events: Manage responses to unplanned events in a timely fashion, ensuring minimal failures resulting in financial penalties and contractual service failure points.
- Supervision and Control: Supervise and control planned and reactive electrical/mechanical maintenance tasks, carry out small work and variation requests, and other tasks deemed reasonable and within the capabilities of the individual.
- On-Call Coverage: Required to cover on-call duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and procurement of materials and services. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, and hospital staff.
