Position: Hospitality Trainer (Front of House)

Qualifications Needed: No previous teaching or training experience is required; our client will equip you with all necessary resources and guidance to become a certified trainer.

Current Responsibilities: You will be engaged in a managerial role within the front of house hospitality sector. Experience in hotel management or event coordination is beneficial.

Work Environment: Hybrid model with travel across the Kent region (candidates must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle).

Compensation: Starting salary of £27,000.

Your Responsibilities as a Hospitality Trainer:

In this role, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work while also visiting various locations within your area to engage with your learners directly.

Typically, your workweek will consist of 2-3 days dedicated to traveling to meet with hospitality apprentices, with the remaining days spent working from home, conducting online meetings, and handling administrative tasks.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with hospitality apprentices both in their workplaces and through online platforms.
  • Utilizing your industry expertise to mentor the next generation of hospitality professionals.
  • Engaging with new apprentices to assess their educational needs.
  • Illustrating the significance of English and mathematics in the hospitality sector to aid your apprentices in developing their functional skills.
  • Visiting employers to provide constructive feedback on their apprentices' competencies.
  • Building relationships with local employers.
  • Completing administrative and planning responsibilities using Google Suite and internal systems.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic hospitality professionals eager to impart their knowledge and make a significant contribution to the hospitality field. To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Proven experience at a Hospitality Management level, along with a passion for education.
  • Experience overseeing one or more of the following areas: Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception & Reservations, Conference & Events, Outlet, Kitchen.
  • A solid understanding of technology and strong administrative capabilities.
  • A Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and mathematics, or a willingness to pursue one.
  • A valid Driving License and access to your own vehicle for regional travel.
