Position: Hospitality Trainer (Front of House)

Required Experience: No previous teaching or training experience is necessary; our client will equip you with all the resources and support required to become a certified trainer.

Current Responsibilities: You will be engaged in a managerial role within front-of-house hospitality. A background in hotel management or event coordination is beneficial.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with travel across the Kent region (candidates must possess a valid driving license and their own vehicle).

Compensation: Starting salary of £27,000.

Your Responsibilities as a Hospitality Trainer:

In this role, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work while traveling to various locations within your region to engage with your learners in person.

Typically, your workweek will consist of 2-3 days of travel to meet your hospitality apprentices, with the remaining days dedicated to remote work, including online meetings and administrative tasks.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with hospitality apprentices both in their workplaces and through online platforms.
  • Utilize your industry expertise to educate the upcoming generation of hospitality professionals.
  • Engage with new apprentices to assess their learning requirements.
  • Illustrate the significance of English and mathematics in the hospitality sector to assist your apprentices with their functional skills.
  • Visit employers to provide constructive feedback on their apprentices' competencies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local employers.
  • Complete necessary administrative and planning tasks using Google Suite and internal systems.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for enthusiastic hospitality professionals eager to share their knowledge and make a significant impact in the hospitality sector. To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • Proven experience at a management level within hospitality, along with a passion for teaching.
  • Experience overseeing one or more of the following areas: Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reception & Reservations, Conference & Events, Outlet, Kitchen.
  • Strong technological proficiency and administrative capabilities.
  • A Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and mathematics, or a willingness to pursue one.
  • A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle for regional travel.
