About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our Workforce Transformation team as a Workforce Transformation Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of our system-wide approach to enabling the Ten Big Ambitions of West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional managerial support and leadership to deliver workforce transformation.
  • Work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparent and highly effective consultation and involvement processes.
  • Communicate and manage stakeholders using project and programme management methodologies.
  • Establish and foster effective working relationships and networks with key stakeholders across the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System.
  • Utilise influencing and persuasion skills to establish the basis for the successful delivery of workstreams.
  • Lead individual workforce transformation projects, ensuring engagement of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Contribute to the effective management of budgets related to the agreed workstreams, programmes/projects, and associated contracts.
  • Provide management and leadership to staff who may directly report, ensuring the management of performance, conducting of appraisals, objective setting, and handling any issues in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • Significant experience at a senior management level within the NHS, local government, or other relevant organisation.
  • Experience of significant service redesign across organisational and professional/clinical boundaries.
  • Project management/programme management qualification desirable.
