Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Careers Advisor to join our Advice & Recruitment Team at ONLY FE. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional career guidance services to improve pupils' skills, knowledge, and understanding for career planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal guidance interviews to support pupils in making informed career decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective career guidance programs to meet the needs of our pupils.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of careers-related learning.
  • Provide up-to-date advice and guidance on UCAS and clearing processes to students and staff.
  • Support the development of our pupils' employability skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or significant relevant experience in Careers and a Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice and Guidance.
  • Experience of delivering careers-related learning to groups and knowledge of the CDI Framework and Gatsby Benchmarks.
  • Proven ability to work in an information, advice, and guidance service within a post-16 setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of people and organizations.
