Job Summary:

Career Legal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graduate Development Advisor/Early Careers Advisor to join their London office on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for an individual looking to step up into an advisory position or transition from a Generalist HR role into Early Careers/Graduate Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Trainees, ensuring their successful development and growth within the organization.
  • Manage seat rotations of trainees, balancing the firm's resourcing needs with trainee preferences to optimize their learning experience.
  • Moderate and review trainee seat reviews to monitor performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the secondment process, reviewing all secondment terms for international and client secondments to ensure seamless integration and maximum benefit.
  • Assist with trainee application screening, vacation schemes, and in-house recruitment events to attract top talent and promote the organization's brand.
  • Support the HR Team with the qualification process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of previous Graduate Development or Generalist HR experience in a professional services organization or law firm, with a strong administrative background and high proficiency in IT skills, including Excel and PowerPoint. They will possess project management experience, effective presentation skills, and be a strong communicator with the ability to influence and challenge situations when needed. The Graduate Development Advisor will be a flexible professional with a can-do approach, working well under pressure and being an enthusiastic team-player.
