Job Summary:

A global leader in their industry, Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd, is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join their team. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and consistent advice, support, coaching, and governance of HSE standards and legislation across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HSE matters to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Support audits and investigations, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
  • Develop and implement effective HSE training programs for employees.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in supporting the management of HSE risks and processes in a high-risk environment.
  • Competent with CDM regulations 2015.
  • Ability to interpret and apply formal regulations, approved codes of practice, and guidance.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder interaction, report writing, and investigative skills.
  • Proven background in driving a safety culture.
  • Proven experience in using IT, including MS Office packages.
  • NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent.
