SHE Advisor Role

Location: Global



Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SHE Advisor to join our team. As an SHE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our client's site adheres to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.


Key Responsibilities:


• Provide timely and consistent advice, support, coaching, and governance of SHE standards and legislation to support all activities across the site.

• Support audits and accident/near miss investigations, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.

• Develop and implement effective SHE policies, procedures, and training programs.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Provide guidance on CDM regulations 2015 and other relevant legislation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers.

• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve safety culture and reduce incidents.

• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business continuity plans.

• Provide training and coaching to employees on SHE policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular reviews of SHE performance and provide recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:


• Practical experience of supporting the management of health and safety risks and/or processes in a high-risk environment.

• Competent with CDM regulations 2015.

• Ability to interpret and apply formal regulations, approved codes of practice, and guidance.

• Proven written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder interaction, report writing, and investigative skills.

• Proven background of driving a safety culture.

• Proven experience of using IT, including MS Office packages.

• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.

• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent.
