Job Title: Senior Care Worker

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to young people, including key working and daily living activities.
  • Work collaboratively with young people, their families, social workers, and other organizations to ensure their needs are met and their transition to adulthood is smooth.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and review care plans for allocated young people, ensuring their needs are met and their progress is tracked.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep of the establishment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for young people.
  • Conduct administrative tasks and record-keeping associated with key working responsibilities and daily home operations.
  • Empower young people to take control of their lives, making informed decisions and taking responsibility for their actions.
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and report them effectively.
  • Meet the daily needs of young people, including personal care, cooking, and household responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in an Ofsted-regulated environment.
  • Level 3 CYPW or above qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS check and update service.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Smart and agile to handle the daily needs and activities of young people.
