Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to lead our team in Stanford le Hope, Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the environmental programme at DP World London Gateway, a deep sea container port and attached logistics park development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental strategies and monitoring programmes to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage the environmental team and provide guidance on environmental best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Procure resources and manage budgets for environmental works.
  • Provide advisory support to project teams on environmental aspects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in environmental science or equivalent qualification.
  • Full membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in relevant roles, including team management and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to negotiate contracts.
