We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to lead our team in managing the environmental program at DP World London Gateway, a major deep-sea container port and logistics park development.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies and monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and laws. They will work closely with stakeholders, including regulators, customers, and the local community, to ensure that our operations are environmentally responsible and sustainable.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental management, with experience in leading environmental programs and teams. They will have a proven track record of managing environmental projects, including environmental impact assessments, permitting, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental strategies and monitoring programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and laws.
  • Manage the environmental program at DP World London Gateway, including environmental impact assessments, permitting, and compliance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including regulators, customers, and the local community, to ensure that our operations are environmentally responsible and sustainable.
  • Lead a team of environmental professionals to ensure that our operations are environmentally responsible and sustainable.
  • Develop and manage budgets for environmental projects and programs.
  • Provide expert advice to other teams on environmental matters.


Requirements

  • Master's degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
  • Full membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in environmental management, including experience in leading environmental programs and teams.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of environmental laws and regulations related to the development activities at DP World London Gateway.
  • Proven track record of managing environmental projects, including environmental impact assessments, permitting, and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including regulators, customers, and the local community.
