About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Railway Technician to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the rail network, including track, signals, and other infrastructure.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with the rail network, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of rail safety procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, such as engineering or maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of rail safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
