The Learning and Development partner plays a crucial role in enhancing workplace performance at individual, team, and organizational levels. You will act as a catalyst for transformation, engaging with key stakeholders to make informed decisions and recommendations regarding Learning and Development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences and effective course materials that elevate skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess the training needs of the target audience.
- Define instructional objectives and create content that aligns with these goals.
- Visualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and the final product.
- Conduct thorough instructional research and analysis on learners and their contexts.
- Utilize proven instructional design theories, practices, and methodologies.
- Develop exercises and activities that enrich the learning experience.
- Create supplementary materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.).
- Establish criteria for evaluating learner performance and create assessment tools.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and course records.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with content authoring tools (e.g., ADAPT, Articulate, or similar).
- Ability to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Demonstrate learning benefits through data analysis, identifying trends, and proposing solutions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Build strong working relationships with business leaders, colleagues, and external organizations to achieve learning and development objectives.
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including senior management.
- Employ diverse questioning and listening techniques to foster brainstorming, discussion, and decision-making.
- Serve as a role model for the learning and development team, inspiring others to embrace learning solutions and achieve ambitious goals.
- Facilitate collaborative and social learning through innovative technological approaches.
- Experience in managing and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure the quality of learning and training delivery by providing constructive feedback to colleagues for continuous improvement.
