MGB Accountants, a small, friendly accountancy practice based in Bristol, is seeking an experienced Accountant to work as a Client Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake all compliance tasks for clients, including preparation of accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns using Iris.
- Manage book-keeping, VAT returns, and management accounts for clients using Sage, Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, and other packages.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients on day-to-day queries and support the director on more complex tax or planning tasks.
- ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounting packages such as Xero, Sage, and Iris.
- Strong communication and management skills.
- A competitive salary of £40-50k DoE plus bi-annual bonuses based on company performance.
- The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
- The flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
We are flexible regarding the location of this role and can accommodate it from one of our three offices in Thornbury, Wotton-under-Edge, or Westbury-on-Trym.
