Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take on the role of Neonatal Unit Manager. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to neonates and possess strong leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations and ensure the safety and well-being of patients within the Neonatal Unit.

Key Responsibilities

The Neonatal Unit Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing the operational aspects of the Neonatal Unit, ensuring high standards of care delivery.
  • Supporting and guiding staff in providing personalized care based on the latest research, tailored to the unique needs of each neonate and their family.
  • Optimizing the use of resources to maintain the highest quality of care for patients.
  • Acting as a deputy for the Matron during their absence, promoting evidence-based practices and supervising staff within the clinical area.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Experience in managing a team within a pediatric or neonatal intensive care setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of neonatal care practices.
