Position Overview:

As a Corporate Account Executive, you will deliver expert guidance and support to our diverse clientele. Your primary focus will be on managing policy events with adherence to compliant practices, ensuring that every client receives professional and equitable treatment.

Your role will involve not only retaining current clients but also expanding our business through the ongoing cultivation of relationships and the provision of outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify suitable solutions, structuring, pricing, and placement strategies that align with client requirements while ensuring profitable outcomes for a variety of clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, meticulously covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements, advising, reviewing, arranging, and securing the necessary coverage at competitive rates.
  • Oversee the review and necessary actions related to policy and client information.
  • Maintain vigilance in daily operations to recognize and mitigate potential issues, ensuring timely remedial actions are implemented as needed.
  • Foster effective relationships across all levels with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists to maximize business opportunities.
  • Enhance and maintain relationships with PIB's panel of insurers, establishing a strong presence within the insurance market.
  • Collaborate proactively with colleagues across the organization to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Place commercial lines business within approved markets, ensuring alignment with client needs based on comprehensive knowledge of the client, insurance market, and industry sector.
  • Keep clients informed of updates regarding political, regulatory, and market changes that may affect their business.
  • Assess the adequacy of coverage and the suitability of terms being offered to clients.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all inquiries are resolved efficiently and promptly.

Required Experience:

Essential qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C, including English and Maths.
  • Experience within the UK insurance sector and a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with General Commercial classes of business.
  • Proven client service and administrative experience, adhering to processes and systems with high accuracy and attention to detail to support client service delivery.
  • Previous experience working within a team to service both clients and colleagues, along with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite.
  • Operational knowledge of Acturis, ensuring accurate updates to data quality standards.
