Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Registered Manager to join their team in a permanent capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Children's home in Ipswich, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support the growth and development of the Children's home, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Ensure the home's procedures and strategies are implemented and adhered to, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring the home remains compliant and ahead of the curve.
- Manage performance and development, using regular staff supervisions and appraisals to promote a culture of self-awareness and understanding.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working within Children's residential care, with 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Direct involvement in Ofsted inspections.
