About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Central Government Account Director to join our team at Trustmarque Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with central government customers and supporting agencies in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account capture and development plans to maximize opportunities with central government customers.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within central government organizations.
  • Establish a strong pipeline of qualified business opportunities and provide proactive client value and thought leadership to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage opportunities, stakeholders, and indirect networks and events.
  • Responsibility for the wider commercial relationship, including aged debt, payment, and conditions of business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in central government sales, with a strong understanding of the UK public sector landscape.
  • Ability to develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and inspire clients.
  • Strong appreciation of IT, digital, and data requirements and drivers in respect of the local government sector.
  • Experience of working across Public Sector frameworks, locally and nationally.
  • Experienced in developing pricing/business case models through effective benefits management.
  • Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the structure, skills, and business environment of local government organizations.
