Human Resources Strategic Partner

As a part of our global presence, headquartered in Plano, Texas, we employ over eight thousand individuals across twenty-one locations worldwide, with manufacturing capabilities in various countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, China, and Taiwan.

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team at the Greenock facility, functioning at a Business Partner level. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience within a similar role in a global organization, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sectors. The HR Strategic Partner will leverage a comprehensive generalist HR skill set to drive initiatives in Organizational Design and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development, Talent Management, as well as Employee Engagement and Relations.

The successful candidate will bring an independent and objective viewpoint, demonstrating a track record of supporting modernization and aligning with both regional and global strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor, collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance HR practices.
  • Lead efforts in modernizing and aligning HR processes across the organization.
  • Participate in global HR projects, contributing to the development of best practices.
  • Build and maintain essential relationships across regional and global teams.
  • Utilize both qualitative and quantitative organizational data to inform decision-making.
  • Champion young talent initiatives, including apprenticeships and graduate programs, while fostering connections with educational institutions.
  • Engage in Compensation and Benefits projects, driving impactful changes.
  • Support the implementation of new HR systems and processes.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Employ analytical skills to enhance HR performance metrics.
  • Stay informed on UK employment legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Lead the annual pay review cycle and performance management processes.
  • Coach and guide managers to build high-performing teams.
  • Possess a degree in Human Resources or a related field, with CIPD qualification preferred.

Work Schedule

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week on-site.
