Financial Accountant - 6 Months Contract
Lusona Consultancy (Group) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team on a 6 months contract basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to empower our leadership team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including the year-end audit and corporation tax statutory reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Produce insightful weekly and monthly management information to external audit level quality, using financial ratios, trend analysis, and other techniques to identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax compliance across all group operating companies.
- Internal Controls: Review the integrity of all group company balance sheet control account reconciliations and work closely with the Group Financial Controller to introduce and improve internal control procedures.
- Cost Savings: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and reforecasting exercises, using financial data to inform business decisions.
- Consolidation: Work with the Group Financial Controller to update and document the consolidation process.
Requirements:
- Full awareness of all current accounting standards.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Teams and advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
