Job Brief


We are looking for an experienced HR professional at our Greenock site operating at Business Partner level. The ideal candidate will have operated in a similar capacity within a global organization, preferably from within an engineering or manufacturing background. With a substantial generalist HR skillset to offer, the HR Business Partner will support on Organisational Design and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, and Selection, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Employee engagement and relations activity and as such will be required to be a highly experienced HR practitioner in all areas.

We are looking for someone who brings an independent, objective perspective and can demonstrate supporting modernization and changes in line with regional and global initiatives.

Requirements

You have previously worked as an HR business partner or equivalent position.

in a global organisation liaising with senior stakeholders.

You have been involved in and can demonstrate experience of modernising, aligning processes and working practices across organizations

You have worked as part of a team on global HR projects and initiatives

You understand and can build the key relationships required across the region as well as globally

  • You are a true HR Generalist with lots of exposure across the full remit of HR Practices.
  • You have worked with and understand qualitative and quantitative organisational data using it to support with proposals and decision making.
  • You have led on young talent initiatives including apprenticeships, graduate programms and year in industry initiatives and have developed links with local schools, colleges and universities
  • You have exposure to Compensation and Benefits projects and are keen to further utilise these skills to drive change.
  • You have proven work experience of supporting with and implementing new HR Systems.
  • You have excellent people and communication skills.
  • You are analytical and goal oriented.
  • You have demonstrable experience with using HR metrics to increase performance.
  • You have up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • You have been the lead person on the annual pay review cycle and performance management process.
  • You have the capability to coach, guide and advise people managers to build capabilities and develop high functioning teams.
  • You are Degree in Human Resources or related field/CIPD qualified.
