We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our First Response Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health services to individuals of all ages experiencing a mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the shift and allocate work to the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct telephone triage and community face-to-face assessments, providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Develop and implement brief clinical risk assessments, mental health formulations, and short-term contingency plans for callers.
- Liaise with other professionals and agencies, including emergency services, GPs, local authorities, schools, and care homes.
- Work closely with other mental health services, including secondary care teams, primary care mental health, and acute/crisis services.
- Implement brief solution-focused interventions to empower patients, carers, and families in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Collaboratively develop safe and appropriate care plans, utilizing strong communication and assessment skills.
