About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Capability Coach to join our team at emh. As a Financial Capability Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to achieve financial independence and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emh's Money Matters financial advice, including assessing individuals' finances and promoting support services.
  • Provide expert advice and assistance to enable customers to maximise their income, including benefit entitlement and income and expenditure reviews.
  • Manage a caseload of residents with complex welfare benefit issues, maintaining regular contact and completing cases in accordance with procedure.

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering welfare benefits advice to diverse client groups.
  • Ability to listen, question, and show empathy when working with customers in financial difficulties.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
  • Well-organised and able to prioritise competing priorities, delivering work to agreed deadlines and standards.
