Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Capability Specialist to join our team at emh. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve financial independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver emh's Money Matters financial advice to residents, assessing their finances and promoting support to increase financial capability.
  • Provide guidance on benefit entitlement, income, and expenditure reviews to maximize residents' income.
  • Manage a caseload of residents with complex welfare benefit issues, maintaining regular contact and ensuring cases are completed in accordance with procedure.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering welfare benefits advice to diverse client groups.
  • Ability to listen, question, and show empathy when working with customers from all backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
  • Well-organized, able to prioritize, and deliver work to agreed deadlines and standards.
