Job Description

As a key member of the Barratt Developments team, the Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient running of the Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, including the management of accounts, financial planning, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the finance team, including coaching and development
  • Support the Finance Director in all areas of finance, including financial planning and analysis
  • Collate and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Post-qualification experience in a commercial accounting role
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
