As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture team, the Integration Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing an integration strategy that aligns with our business goals and architectural standards. This role requires a technology visionary who can navigate complex technical environments and establish governance frameworks that ensure secure and efficient integration of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee an Enterprise Integration Strategy that supports organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of business processes and requirements to create high-quality integration designs.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and third-party partners to secure approval for integration artifacts.
  • Customize industry-standard integration frameworks to develop models tailored to our business needs.
  • Document the integration value chain and identify key integration points through comprehensive business process flows.
  • Work closely with internal and external development teams to drive integration architecture and API design.
  • Assess existing systems and integration patterns to facilitate effective integration mapping.
  • Design integration patterns that enable real-time insights for analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with external standards organizations to uphold global integration standards.
  • Define non-functional requirements for integration, focusing on consistency, availability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with Security Architects to establish integration security protocols.
  • Manage the integration governance framework and transition to business-as-usual operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in creating high-quality integration designs in complex environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard integration frameworks and their adaptation to meet business needs.
  • Background in the insurance domain, particularly with integration patterns relevant to commercial insurance.
  • Experience with microservice architectures and legacy systems integration.
  • Ability to map logical to physical integration in large-scale transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of transition planning for integration migration.
  • Experience in designing integration for analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Understanding of integration security policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in governance processes for integration management.
  • Familiarity with the TOGAF framework.
