We are in search of skilled software architects who possess extensive technical expertise, comprehensive project experience, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively connect client needs with engineering teams.

Key Considerations for Our Architecture

How should we adapt our application architecture and what essential infrastructure is required as we transition to Cloud solutions?

How can we preserve the conceptual integrity of our product design amidst rapid evolution?

What strategies can we employ to swiftly deliver the necessary robust interfaces for our Agile development teams?

What steps must be taken to incorporate data science models into our operational processes and fully leverage our data assets?

These are the critical inquiries you will encounter from our clients, your peers, and yourself at BJSS.

BJSS has engineered some of the most complex systems utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies – from a messaging hub that integrates the entirety of the NHS, to an application leveraging a state-of-the-art AWS technology stack to support an exceptional user experience visualizing global flight paths, while also analyzing vast datasets to enhance fuel efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize environmental impact. Our architects have consistently been at the forefront of our projects, managing technical risks and delivering tangible business value.

About You

As one of our Architects, you will leverage your extensive technical knowledge, full project lifecycle experience, and outstanding communication skills to connect clients with internal delivery managers, enterprise architects, operations teams, UX consultants, and developers. You will be adept at evaluating new Open Source technologies during rapid technical assessments, presenting to senior executives on technology selections, or collaborating with technical testers and support engineers to resolve urgent issues.

As a technical leader, you set a standard and motivate delivery teams to develop exceptional software products that exemplify innovation. You will mentor developers to ensure they grasp the broader context while recognizing the valuable expertise they contribute from their daily coding experiences.

Your enthusiasm and pragmatic, results-oriented mindset earn you the respect of your colleagues and establish you as a trusted technical advisor. You are prepared to engage hands-on when necessary, balancing innovation with practical realism.
