Job Title: Kafka Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

The Kafka Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the design, execution, and oversight of Apache Kafka frameworks and data workflows. This position necessitates collaboration with diverse teams to comprehend organizational needs and develop scalable, efficient, and resilient Kafka-centric solutions for real-time data streaming challenges. The Kafka Solutions Architect guarantees the high availability, security, and performance of the Kafka environment, offering technical leadership and direction to development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Architecture:
  • Formulate and execute the architecture for Apache Kafka frameworks to fulfill both business and technical specifications.
  • Craft data workflows and streaming applications utilizing Kafka and related technologies.
  • Generate and sustain documentation of the Kafka architecture, encompassing data flow diagrams, architectural schematics, and operational guidelines.
  1. Implementation and Deployment:
  • Establish and configure Kafka clusters, topics, producers, consumers, and connectors.
  • Guarantee secure, high-availability, and fault-tolerant Kafka environments.
  • Adopt best practices for data retention, partitioning, replication, and monitoring.

  • Oversee the performance of Kafka clusters and resolve issues related to scalability, latency, and throughput.
  • Enhance Kafka configurations for improved performance and resource efficiency.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems for Kafka health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
