Job Description:

Quantinuum is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Director of External Communications and Public Relations. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to promote the company's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Communications Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement communications plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Manage Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and reporters to increase awareness and credibility for Quantinuum.
  • Craft and Distribute Key Messages: Develop and disseminate press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials to effectively communicate the company's story.
  • Lead Crisis Communications: Develop and implement crisis communications plans to ensure timely and effective response to potential crises.
  • Manage External Vendors: Oversee the work of external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality communications support.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders: Work closely with senior executives to develop and implement communications strategies that support their goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and Analyze Communications Effectiveness: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communications efforts to inform future strategies and improve overall communications impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ Years of Experience: In public relations and communications, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic communications plans.
  • Strong Media Relations Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and reporters.
  • Excellent Writing and Communication Skills: Ability to craft compelling communications materials and effectively communicate complex ideas.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to track and analyze communications effectiveness and develop strategies to improve overall communications impact.
  • Collaborative and Strategic Thinker: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement communications strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
