AKA Communications is seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Account Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing and executing public relations strategies, and leading our team of public relations professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and objectives.
- Manage client budgets and ensure profitability.
- Public Relations
- Develop and execute public relations strategies to achieve client objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Secure media coverage through press releases, media kits, and other materials.
- Campaigns and Strategy
- Develop and execute national and global media relations campaigns.
- Work closely with our team to develop creative programming and ensure successful execution of press and social media campaigns.
- Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
- Build relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Leadership
- Lead and motivate our team of public relations professionals.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong public relations and marketing experience, preferably in the hospitality and luxury travel industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple assignments.
- Strong negotiation and delegation skills.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours.
