Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of goods and services for the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme. As a key member of the Insight Executive Group team, you will be responsible for delivering the Trust's Procurement Strategy, with a focus on the Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme.
Main Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the Trust's objectives and complies with NHS procurement policies.
- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships, lead complex procurement activities, and ensure contract compliance to deliver value, quality, and efficiency.
- Cost Savings Initiatives: Drive cost-saving initiatives and support the delivery of the Trust's non-pay savings targets through the development of key supplier strategies.
- Procurement Transformation: Support the Director of Procurement & Supply Chain by deputising and contributing to the Trust's overall procurement transformation agenda.
Requirements
- Education: Postgraduate degree level or equivalent experience at a senior procurement manager level in a relevant commercial environment.
- Skills: Advanced interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
