About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement team at Aliaxis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business objectives of EMEA in Procurement, ensuring the Procurement function is an asset of the company and actively contributing to the European Procurement network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement local goods & services Category Sourcing Strategies in conjunction with the UK Head of Procurement and European Category Managers.
  • Actively cooperate with the European Category Managers and other Country Procurement Managers to maximize Purchasing synergies and performances.
  • Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Support the business in developing accurate functional and/or technical specifications for products and services to ensure business needs and expectations are achieved.
  • Carry out internal and external business & market analysis (offer and demand).
  • Negotiate and work with suppliers to achieve best TCO value for goods & services to maintain and improve a competitive advantage for Aliaxis.
  • Implement and manage supply contracts and governance to ensure maximum benefits are realised by Aliaxis UK.
  • Manage, monitor, report and follow up supplier performance (SRM).
  • Develop and maintain management KPI's, reports/presentations as and when required.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic category management.

CIPS Qualification preferred.

Experience in change management.

Experience in Supplier audit.

Experience of Power BI and MS AX12 systems would be highly desirable.
