Job Title: Strategic Buyer

Aliaxis is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our Procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement local goods & services Category Sourcing Strategies in conjunction with the UK Head of Procurement and European Category Managers.
  • Actively cooperate with the European Category Managers and other Country Procurement Managers to maximize Purchasing synergies and performances.
  • Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement local goods & services Category Sourcing Strategies in conjunction with the UK Head of Procurement and European Category Managers.
  • Actively cooperate with the European Category Managers and other Country Procurement Managers to maximize Purchasing synergies and performances.
  • Support the business in developing accurate functional and/or technical specifications for products and services to ensure business needs and expectations are achieved.
  • Carry out internal and external business & market analysis (offer and demand).
  • Negotiate and work with suppliers to achieve best TCO value for goods & services to maintain and improve a competitive advantage for Aliaxis (from co-operation to hard).
  • Implement and manage supply contracts and governance to ensure maximum benefits are realised by Aliaxis UK.
  • Manage, monitor, report and follow up supplier performance (SRM).
  • Develop and maintain management KPI's, reports/presentations as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in strategic category management.
  • CIPS Qualification preferred.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience in Supplier audit.
  • Experience of Power BI and MS AX12 systems would be highly desirable.
