Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Leader Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, promoting their academic and social growth.
- Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, fostering positive relationships with students and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote student well-being and behavior.
- DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students.
- A good knowledge of EHCPs.
- The ability to assist in lessons and activities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Competitive pay rates.

- A dedicated consultant to answer any queries and for ongoing support.
