Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of children and young people in a secondary school setting.

About the Role:
  • Create a safe and positive learning environment for students
  • Develop and implement personalized teaching approaches, including 1:1 and group learning opportunities
  • Maintain accurate student progress records
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the college through administrative tasks
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide additional educational support in the classroom
Requirements:
  • Have or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching in Schools
  • Previous experience working in a classroom environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for supporting children with varying abilities in a positive education environment
  • Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills in challenging situations
  • Must have or be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of young people
