Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with Key Stage 2 students who require additional support due to their Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural needs.
This is a long-term position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. The successful candidate will have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs, both 1:1 and in group settings.
- Establish a supportive and consistent relationship, promoting a positive learning experience.
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of the academic, emotional, and behavioural needs of the child and respond to these effectively.
- Be flexible and resilient, with good classroom skills.
