Job Description

Job Summary:

The CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Adjudication Officer to join our team in the Parking Services department. As an Adjudication Officer, you will play a crucial role in the decriminalised Enforcement Process of Penalty Charge Notices issued to both stationary and moving vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the decriminalised Enforcement Process.
  • Process correspondence relating to the issue of Penalty Charge Notices, appeals to London Tribunal Environment and Traffic Adjudicators, and applications to the County Court.
  • Deal with bailiff enquiries and provide specialist and procedural advice to customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT packages and systems used within the service and ensure effective operation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain secure and effective quality systems and procedures to ensure service delivery meets customer needs.
  • Register applications to the Council for the service area, checking for validity and ensuring appropriate fees and charges are administered.
  • Prepare and present information on behalf of the service, including management and statistical information for audit purposes.
  • Contact other internal and external parties as required, including interrogation of external databases.
  • Organise and attend regular team and service meetings, contributing ideas and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Attend meetings, taking minutes and producing accurate written records within agreed timescales.
  • Work as part of a project team to deliver and complete work projects, supporting different work streams.
  • Monitor and procure goods and services within the E-market place as required by the service area.
  • Manage, organise, and monitor a personal caseload to ensure targets are met.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to changing work demands and deadlines.
  • Assist managers in carrying out Health and Safety checks and audits.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of using the 3sixty parking system.
  • Proven word processing and keyboard skills, with experience in administrative/clerical work preferably dealing with enquiries and complaints from the public.
  • Experience of procedures and knowledge relating to the processing of Penalty Charge Notices in line with legislation.

Additional Information:

This role is suitable for remote working.
