Job Title: Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of bespoke assessment and intervention plans for adults with learning difficulties, autism, and mental health difficulties.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in clinical psychology. You will work collaboratively with a range of key partners, including speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our service users.

As a Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing assessment and intervention plans for adults with learning difficulties, autism, and mental health difficulties
  • Working collaboratively with a range of key partners to deliver high-quality services
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to junior staff members
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Collecting and analyzing data to inform service delivery and development

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS
  • Experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists
  • Previous experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  • Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children
  • Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
  • Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
