About the Role
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our dental service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinicians in delivering exceptional oral health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians in the delivery of dental care, ensuring a safe and efficient treatment environment.
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation and assembly of dental equipment, instruments, and materials for clinical use.
- Participate in clinical and non-clinical audits, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse (National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3)
- Registered with the General Dental Council
- Minimum 2 years' experience of assisting chairside in the dental surgery
