Position: Behaviour Support Assistant
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm

Overview:
A reputable Alternative Provision school is currently in search of a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant. This role involves working with primary-aged students who experience social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as exhibiting challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
  • Providing 1-1 support or working within small groups to assist students academically.
  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning and offering emotional support.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience working with primary school children.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or challenging behaviours.
  • A genuine passion for fostering student progress.
