Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and other professionals to create tailored intervention plans, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of students, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, with a focus on behaviour management and support.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in a school environment, including the use of positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or psychology, such as a degree in Education or a related field.
