We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Translational Research Technician to support our Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) portfolio. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of projects, ensuring timely and efficient collection and processing of tissue samples in accordance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Support all aspects of tissue collection activities for various ECMC projects.
- Process tissue samples in the laboratory to GCLP standards.
- Provide support for running and maintenance of GCLP labs, including equipment monitoring and ordering.
- Train and support staff and students involved in handling human tissues.
To succeed in this position, you will require excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility. Experience working with human tissues and knowledge of regulatory requirements are highly desirable.
