About the Role

The University of Leicester is seeking a talented statistician to join its esteemed research team at the Diabetes Research Centre and NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre. As a Research Associate, you will contribute to a programme of work led by Prof Pratik Choudhary around type 1 diabetes and technology, supported by the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct novel analysis on large real-world datasets, including the National Diabetes Audit
  • Collaborate with European partners to develop and conduct complex analysis
  • Contribute to a diverse range of ongoing projects in type 1 diabetes and technology
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in longitudinal data analysis and causal inference
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
About You

As a Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary research team and contribute to the ongoing development of our Research Centre. You will also have the chance to develop your own ideas and expertise in this area.
