Creative Operations Lead

We are in search of a seasoned and entrepreneurial leader to join our team as the Creative Operations Lead, responsible for ensuring the effective execution of marketing initiatives within our creative hub.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Marketing Director and the head of Marketing Services to establish, develop, and expand a new creative super studio at easyJet. This nearshore production facility, developed in partnership with an agency, is tasked with delivering all marketing and non-marketing creative outputs. You will play a crucial role in managing the relationship with the agency and liaising with key stakeholders within the studio and easyJet to facilitate a smooth transition to a new operational model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the agency partner and easyJet, ensuring alignment on priorities, processes, and updates. By fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders, you will set the creative studio up for success, including onboarding, managing requests, conducting feedback sessions, and serving as the escalation point.
- Oversee project timelines and workflow processes within the creative studio, ensuring that briefs are completed on schedule and within budget. Maintain awareness of creative workloads and project deadlines, with the ability to adjust and prioritize based on overall work volume.
- Lead weekly status meetings across various departments, prepare timelines for project milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage the workflow management system and tools, ensuring teams receive proper training and that feedback for improvements is implemented by the agency partner, continuously striving for enhancement.
- Administer the creative studio budget for marketing, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost efficiencies, and savings with vendors.
- Enhance the infrastructure and operations of the creative department to improve timeliness and communication while supporting the creative development process.
- Ensure a robust creative briefing process and high-quality output from the studio across all mediums, including video, copy, design, and creative.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with over 10 years of experience in project management or operations within marketing, communications, or creative services.
- Experience in a creative agency or managing external agencies is essential.
- Proven track record in implementing new tools and workflows, including generative AI and creative automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large integrated marketing campaigns across various platforms, including print, digital, and retail, with a creative team.
- Experience in photography and videography production.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to apply quality control practices to all processes.
- Excellent creative judgment and a passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment.
